This expressive Wren bird painting by Jai Johnson is sure to add just the right amount of charm to your space.

When we were building our fence around our yard, I knew I wanted it to be different. So I picked out some wood balls to add to the top of every fence post. I'm so glad I did, because my birds just love it. Wallace is a tiny, but bossy, Wren who loves to perch on the fence post balls as he monitors the backyard for intruders. When he sees something he doesn't believe should be in the yard, he goes after it with gusto, using his angry voice. Sometimes, when he's feeling particularly happy, he will sit on the post and sing a long song, which is always music to my ears.

I am an artist living in Tennessee, and I love to spend my days in nature enjoying life's most serene and peaceful moments, whether it be landscapes, watching birds and wildlife, or experiencing the beauty of a simple flower.
